Sometimes the Elf Council learns about someone who could use a little extra comfort, encouragement, or hope.

Through The Elf Council Cares, the Elf Council may quietly arrange a Special Assignment—a gift chosen to remind someone that they are brave, deeply loved, and never alone.

Some Special Assignments may include a Companion Elf and storybook. Others may be tailored to the unique circumstances of the individual or family receiving them.

Every nomination is read with care. While we wish we could fulfill every request, Special Assignments depend on available resources and are not guaranteed.

Who May Be Nominated?

Anyone experiencing a season of hardship or significant life challenges may be nominated, including:

❤️ Children facing illness or medical treatment

❤️ Families experiencing grief or loss

❤️ Individuals navigating major life transitions

❤️ Caregivers who quietly give so much of themselves

❤️ Seniors who may be feeling isolated

❤️ First responders, teachers, healthcare workers, or others who could use encouragement

❤️ Anyone whose heart could use a reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved

What Is a Special Assignment?

Every Special Assignment is unique.

The Elf Council carefully considers each nomination and prepares a gift intended to bring comfort, encouragement, and hope.

Assignments may include books, Companion Elves, handwritten notes, or other thoughtful gifts chosen especially for the recipient.
