Festive Friend Elves was created to bring wonder, comfort, encouragement, and kindness into the everyday lives of children.
Some children need a story.
Some need a brave little friend.
Some need encouragement while learning.
Some need comfort through something hard.
Some simply need to be reminded that kindness still matters.
Every book, elf, resource, and assignment grows from one of our five Core Missions.

Helping children and families through life’s most
difficult moments.
The Elf Council Cares provides special Companion Elf
assignments for children and families facing illness, grief, loss, hardship, or
seasons when extra comfort is needed.
Helping children fall in love with books one story at a time.
Through library partnerships, magical reading adventures, and story-inspired resources, the Elf Council encourages children to discover that books can open doors to courage, imagination, friendship, and hope.
Making learning exciting through imagination, curiosity,
and play.
Learning Adventures help transform classrooms, homeschool
lessons, and everyday discoveries into magical moments that spark creativity,
build confidence, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
Helping children discover the wonder around them—and the
kindness within them.
Through simple acts of compassion, gratitude, and
imagination, this mission encourages children to notice the beauty in everyday
life and discover how even the smallest act of kindness can brighten someone's
world.
Helping children face medical journeys
with courage, comfort, and hope.
Brave Hearts supports children through hospitals, doctor
visits, dental appointments, therapy sessions, medical procedures, and other
healthcare experiences. Through encouraging stories, Brave Hearts Elves, and
thoughtfully created resources, the Elf Council helps children discover that
even on the hardest days, they are stronger, braver, and never alone.
